After getting the RPM transmission and re-stalled converter back from their respective vendors, I was curious to see what the car would run. It seemed before that the stock 4L60e couldn't take what the turbo kit had to throw at it, so an upgrade was necessary. It took a bit of ironing out, but I believe we have it right now. On Saturday I made a handful of passes just trying to figure out how the car wanted to be launched. I used to just leave off of idle, but played around with stalling it up. It seemed the best way to get it to move out was by stalling it up to 2000-2500 RPM or so. It doesn't 60' that hard (mid 1.60's) but man does it sure take off once it starts rolling. I am not sure that it will leave any harder on stock suspension - but I'm content with the 60'. Got a few shakedown runs in, mostly low 7's in the 101 mph range.

Sunday it was a few degrees cooler, and also the car wasn't quite as warm during the runs. On the second pass, it clicked off a 6.95 @ 102 mph. Happy with what it ran, I called it a day. it may or may not run faster than that, but on 8 lbs of boost, I'm pleased.
